Something's amiss with my computer. The pages do not automatically refresh like they used to. I have to manually refresh each time I post or go another forum to bring up the most current postings. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that needs to be turned back on but I cannot find it. Can anyone help? (Windows XP 5.1 system)
Check that yer hard drive isn't getting to full. Goto sys tools and clean it up maybe even defrag. Than reboot the system as this dumps the loaded memory. or just reboot before anything else
Go to your Intenet Options control panel, either through Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options, or from in Internet Explorer choose Intenet Options from the Tools menu. On the General tab, in the section that says "Temporary Internet Files" click the settings button. Make sure the selection for "Check for newer versions of stored pages" is set to either Automatic, or Every visit to the page.

This worked. Thanks! The setting was on "Never". Don't know how that got changed as I 'never' mess with those settings. Appreciate the quick advice.
Go to the control panel and select 'add remove programs". then permanetly delete every program you dont use..then do a system defrag.........alot of programs are added to your computer that you may not be aware of when you use certain web sites.
