01 rear diff LS?

Welcome to the forum hi_voltage 
Rich, on the tag on the diff there will be a bunch of number. There should be something like 3 55 or 3L55 if it's limted slip.
You can also look at the VIN tag on the door post. There is a box that's called "Axle". The codes are
18 — 3.08, non-limited slip
19 — 3.55, non-limited slip
26 — 3.73, non-limited slip
27 — 3.31, non-limited slip
H9 — 3.55, limited slip
B6 — 3.73, limited slip

I got a quick question so would that axle code apply to the 87-96 F-series trucks cause my 93 says 19 and i have been trying to figure it out im guessing it does so i have a 3.55 non limited slip so that means one tire spins only?
