Ok fellas- i was told this truck i just bought was a 352, BUT it appears to be a factory 4bbl. As far as I can tell thru a little research 352's did not come in 75 3/4 ton trucks, and 352's were not 4bbl from the factory. Any help? VIN is F26YNX20245
Well im not sure if 352 came with 4bbl but i agree your engine should be a 360 or a 390 they never made 352's at all during those years unless somebody swapped em out
Yes, some did come out as 4 barrel, but not in that year... the 360 and 390 were the newer versions of the 352. The side of the block has a 352 cast into it, since it was the original casting. I had a 64 Galaxy 500 that had a 352 4 barrel Holley factory.
Most later F250's upto 76 had 360's in them when they were wore out most people replaced them with a 390 or they rebuilt the 360 and put a 4barrel on it.
After thirty years, there's no telling what your 75 has in it now. Only checking the bore and stroke will tell for certain what it is unless you've lucked out and someone stuck a 427 in there.
Hey that would make my day- I only paid $400 for the truck, it's a factory highboy with divorced 205 and everything works, drove it home. The truck is very powerful, I can tell you that.
