I have a 65 f100 with a 352 in it and was wondering what you guys thought about using Lunati’s 10503 cam. It’s a remake of the 428CJ cam, and has 304/324 advertised duration, 224/232 @.50, .481/.490 lift. I think with that cam it’ll run like a raped ape. I am using summit racing timing chain, double roller, and a factory high rise 4bbl with a autolite 4100 carb. Do you guys think this is a good combo for a 352?
I would redo the exhaust, but don’t have the money right now. Spent it all on the cam, clutch timing chain lol. The current exhaust isn’t too bad except the exhaust manifolds. I think it has cherry bombs on it. With this cam, would I have enough vacuum to run a power brake booster?
Not sure what it takes to properly run a vacuum for that purpose. Sorry, there are specific forums here so maybe post that in a forum specific to the ? I would think the answer is a yes because the #s for that are pretty basic.. but I'm no pro builder.. even with Lego's® LOL
Well I ran a 306* comp cam years ago with a .515" lift and I ran power brakes... I think if I remember right? 13 to 15"s of vacuum will handle power boost..
