6.0 Diesel P2285 Trouble code

My 2003 F250SD w/6.0 and 153K miles is throwing out code P2285, Injector Presssure Sensor Circuit Low. What part or parts would cause this code to be thrown?? I have changed both filters. Where should I start looking? Thanks for the help.

the icp sensor is behind the turbo, it has been known to get an internal leak of oil and go bad.you need an 1 1/16 crows foot wrench to remove it.

Thanks for the info. Is there any test to the sensor when it has been removed to confirm it is bad?

as much hassle as it is to remove, just replace it.

The sensor fails.
It ruins the connector.
Both need to be replaced in this situation.
It is hard to get to, but there are two GREAT threads in the Tech Folder.

This has nothing to do w/ the turbo.

Holy Old Threads Batman! One of my buddies just did his, I think it was in the $3-400 range. I can't remember if that was with the harness, I would assume it was as he is a mechanic (a good one) and doesn't do things half-assed.

There are so many different extended warranty plans it's impossible to say...best advice would be to check the individual plan for that info.
