Ok here is the go , im offering a reward to who ever can give me a positive location of a 53 F100 i purchased and paid for on the 8.3.06. Seems the seller a Mr Harley Dow Green dealer Licence # NO997111 has decided he wants my money and the truck!
Want more info email me direct redcloud@bigpond.net.au
Thank you.
Since you have the dealer license number. I'd contact the Better Business Bureau and make a complaint. I believe DMV will give you info as to the location of the dealer's license and name of the car sales. Another option is to contact the California State Board of Equalization. They issue the dealers permits and licenses. Good luck.
Are you sure that that number is a "dealer" license? Looks like a "driver's" license number.... A little more info would be helpful; what part of Calif, how did you contact this guy, where is the truck, numbers from the truck, etc...
Well the reason i say dealers licence # is that what he sent me on a form from the DMV titled Tranfer and reassignment form and on that form it stats dealers licence # and he has filled in that area.
He resides in Valencia , and Newhall areas, this was a Bay transaction, Not sure exactly where the truck is now, but i have 2 address for him and several Ph # , the licence plate # on the truck was SSE-499
Grabber, could you post the addresses you have?... I'm familiar with the Valencia/Newhall area. Your in Australia? How were you planning on transporting this truck from CA to Australia? Any arrangements made with this guy? How was he paid?
Hi id rather not post his address as yet, but im not ruling it out Im hoping Colonel Flashman can persued the guy .. . he was suppose to transport it to
Long beach for me which i also paid him for. I paid by a wire transfer to his bank account. I wish i had my time over again on this one.
Unless the Col. is in law enforcement, DMV will not release information on a driver's license/ vehicle registration without written consent from the owner. DMV won't do much for you here. You have the guys license number, addresses. and now the bank account number? You have proof of payment and a location where this guy lives. Email me the address. I'm in the area of Valencia/ Newhall. I can go by and at least see if the truck is in his driveway, etc. It's up to you. I'm like the others in here, I don't want or expect a reward. My reward is that you either get your money back or drive a 53 F100 that you paid for. If you feel obligated to give someone a reward, that's up to you. Take the reward money and fill your tank with gas and go for a cruise, then post some pics.. Smile!
We've already made those arraingements, he's already franked the paperwork to me, hopefully it'll arrive soon & the DMV has franked the required forms to request/verify the Seller's info, as I was on the phone w/ them for most of the day yesterday.
I'm in the process of contacting Law Enforcement friends to find out what they can do to help out in this matter.
One of these friends lives in Newhall, if he chooses to do as you volunteered to do for us, w/ a certain amount of authority & if he decides to lend a hand, I can pass this Seller's intel to my Law Enforcement friends to cheque him out for us.
