I know grabber is happy and would love to see the owners face when he realizes the truck isn't there. But no one mentioned this poor truck... Imagine how this truck must feel to have a good home now, not sitting rotting away. And the best part is this truck gets a ocean cruise to Australia. What can be better. I noticed the interior had some rat droppings on the floor, If there is a mouse or rat in the interior. It's in for a big surprise when it wakes up... LOL.... BTW- Grabber, I found out why the license plate didn't come up as a valid plate in CA. I noticed the plate is a Arkansas plate. LOL...
Glad to see the truck headed for it's rightful owner. Seems like U-pay has been overrun lately with con artist and no-gooders. Hope this one gets what he has coming.
Grabber, keep us posted as progress is made with the truck!
Jeff
Grabber
Thanks for keeping us posted and the Picture!
Great
How about pictures of it getting placed on the ship or in the container as well as unloading down under?
That would be awesome!
We're all excited for you.
EXCELLENT NEWS!!! I have been following this from day one, and glad to see it panned out. I would have been happy to help, but unfortunately, I am about as useful as those droppings in the cab.
Great work guys! And the truck looks to be a lot better condition in the rollback pictures than it did in the original pix, so I hope it's suitable for your needs Grabber.
Do keep us updated with progress pix.
If you have DL# and it is good and you have documentation that he cashed you check and that he sent you papers with intentions to sell the truck - File a deceptive practice complaint with the YOUR local States Attorney's office at the County Seat. If you are in the same state, You may also file one in the county that the bad boy is from. You can also file a complaint with your police for Grand Theft Auto, but the may be difficult to do if the vehicle was never in your name, but deceptive practices and theft above $3000 should get the States Attorney attention, if you have a useless States Attorney, then it is to a lawyer for cival action in court with a supena.
Grabber's in "Australia" & the Intele I gave him concerning such an action is already being/been looked into.
First & foremost, it's "Wire Fraud", which is a Felony, along w/ several other Felonies & they being International in Nature, it's going to be difficult.
He will have to convence the Local Constablary & a Judge that it is worth pursueing, as it's going to be extremely costly & time consuming to start an International Investigation.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Dept., A Search Warrent issued by an Aussie Judge for e-Bays files is neccessary, get the Judge to issue an Arrest Warrent after that.
Then get the Local Sherriff's Office to co-operate & Issue an Arrest Warrent of their own for the mulitple Felony Charges.
This is what Deputy Knight & the Main L.A.S.D. Office's Watch Commander stated to me over the phone.
We are doing the best we are able, w/ what we have.
