wallet friendly lowering
i have a 68 custom cab sw that i just bought (i saw an old man trying to put out a carb fire and ran up to help him and later asked if i could purchase after i found out how nice it really was) and was looking for the best and inexpensive way to lower it. the internet doesnt offer much info and neither does the local street rod shop. this truck is a beauty and dont want to rig it but dont want to empty my wallet... wanting to rebuild the 360 or drop my 400+ horse 302. ANY help would be apprecitated (especially if you live in ohio). thanks

Not really a lot you can do suspensionwise for cheap, since you need to keep the camber right. You might be able to find some used lowering I-beams in the classifieds section or in your local chapter.
