mines 5 speed. My origional map was fine. The 2 are different, the PSD one would not run my 5.0L, barely even got it to fire. They are also different shapes, the PSD one is angled on the electrical harness side, the BKO one is is rectangular. The PNs are different also. The computer on a manual trans truck has nothing to do with the operation of the transmission, like it does with an auto.
Thanks for posting your experience tho, I would have never thought of it messing with the auto trans.
As for mileage, so far Im down 1/4 tank and havent noticed much of a difference, taking into consideration the first 1/8th was mostly WOT driving.
