I've searched but can't find a step-by-step instrucion on installing the HPX. Does anyone know where I can find a good detailed description?
I installed my BTS valve body this weekend and the tranny shifts MUCH BETTER.....although I didn't notice the "neck-snapping" shifts that most talk about. I have my chip on order from Jody as soon as he gets the next shippment. He said he got 10 yesterday and they were all pre-sold. He mentioned something about a new push-button selector....anyone know what he is talking about?
What code reader to most folks use that have Jody's chip since they don't have a "superchips like device"?
I also installed the TruCool Max and noticed the tranny temps much lower. I messed up and installed on the front of the 2 upright supports and my grill wouldn't fit back on.....it was easy to move it to the back...
Do they make some sort of rock-screen for the grill so your coolers don't get smashed by bugs and rocks?
Sorry about so many different questions in one post.
HPX installation instructions. It doesn't matter if yours is a hose or stainless steel, the instructions are the same.
As for a new selector, I haven't seen his new one up close yet.
AutoEnginuity is what most prefer to use to run diagnostics on your truck from a laptop.
You can get some snow/rock guards for your grill. It's an overlay that snaps into place. E-bay usually has a bunch. Or you can buy some mesh screen at Home Depot and fab your own setup behind the grill.
I just looked on the website and see the new digital push-button selector.....the other digital with the selector **** didn't last long.......I like the new one with the new features.
Thanks for all the links to the HPX isntalls....I should be able to do it now.
