Inline 6 question
A friend is giving me an 80 f 150 that was ordered with the camper options and upgraded springs. I want to know what were all the upgrades that came on the camper edtion trucks.
Im also wondering what the specs are for the inline 6 engine(HP, Torque, mpg, ect.). I also want to know if the engine came stock with a one or two bbl carb from factory.

im not sure on the options but mpg's all depend on wut ya got like gears and tranny and such,emmisions,egr exhaust the best i have seen is 25mpg's with a c6 and 3.55 limited slip rear driving at 65 for about 120 miles

There is a sticker under your striker bolt on the door frame it will tell you your GVWR and the codes for your rear and trans also sometimes they are painted over or have been removed and can be hard to read if it's still there.

If you could take a picture of that door jam sticker and post it on photobucket it would help decode a lot of your trucks original history.

Thanks for the welcome, great to be part of the community.
I'll have to take a pic of the sticker in the door and post it. The problem at the moment is that the truck is on the other side of the state and I have to go and fix the waterpump and breaks before I can bring it home(Hopefully within the next week or two). But at the moment the friend that gave me the truck has it in the shop having the breaklines replaced. But I hope to have it soon and when I do Ill post the pics on the internet.
