Hypermax Engineering inline pump kit
im reading the newst Diesel tech mag , volume 3 issue 6, on page 50 they show the Hypermax Engineering inline pump powerstroke upgrade.
Seems to be a solution to the heui system
Anyone know anything about it?

According to a friend at hypermax a turn key 800hp set up will run about 15k and a 1200hp setup will run over 20k, we get a lot of pump work done there on our pulling trucks and my boss asked the question for me... Pricey but freakin sweet engines, they will not realease anyother info on this though..

Thats just what we were told, not sure how good the source at hypermax was either, he just could of been someone who answered phones. Its all a big hush hush thing over there with max and the boys....

Hell, I never thought a 7.3 block could take that much HP! How many rpms ya gotta be swingin' to get that much power??

Danny, Double-Overtime is making something like 1700 HP out of a 7.3L. It's not running a HEUI fuel system, obviously, but it makes sick power for pulling.....

And yes, that is competition only!
I'll bet it would sound really neat, though.
It would have that mechanical injection crunchy sound similar to an old IDI diesel.
