Triptunes
A quick question from a newbie. Has anyone purchased the triptunes for an IPOD from Ford? I have a 2006 F-150 SCrew with the stock radio/ single CD player. I wanted to know how well it works and if you did the install yourself and how easy it was.

Well I just found part of the information that I was looking for. On a Mustang forum a poster purchased a triptunes and it was an FM modulator. That definitely means I will go the PIE adaptor route if it is compatible with the HU I have in my F-150 SCrew 4x4.

I thought that the triptunes might be RF as well, but I couldnt find it in writing. Thanks for the two way help.

I just read my previous post. It was supposed to say if you have factory sat radio, you will probably have to disconnect it. Hope that makes more sense.

I've been reading this thread and I'm trying to understand what is going on. I've been thinking about buying an IPOD and was wondering how I would connect it to my radio. I have the audiophile with 6 disc changer and it does have the AUX button. Do I have to buy a PIE for it and what the heck is it if I do. Thanks.
