new to board got some codes
P1316 This is for the IDM. Now my question is when the IDM goes out does it go out and the truck can't run or does it do soemthing else.
P0238 This for going over boost right?
Anyways right now I have a SES light on and these are the codes I am getting. I really dont wanna take it into a dealer and the IDM be good and they puit a new one just for the sake of making a extra dollar. Any help would be appreciated thanks!!

A couple of things you may want to check are: the large wire bundle that goes over the drivers side valve cover. The design will allow the insulation to rub on the vavle cover and could chaff it to the point of shorting out one or more of the injector wires. The other could be a UVC connector loosing up and making poor or no connection on this harness.

it is the actual connector that plugs into the valve cover gasket plug. one on each side, and check for the chafing of the wires, and make sure that the locking clip is still there holding the connector taut.
