okay, i have replace the egr valve, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the dpfe sensor, now what should i do to get rid of this dam code. i have tried everything... please help
Sounds like the EGR tube may be clogged. Try this, with the engine idling, apply vacuum to the egr valve, if the engine stumbles or dies, then it is working. If the idle doesn't change, then the tube or port in the intake is probably clogged.
i put a new sensor on and i did clear the code after putting it on and cleaning everything intensely. i drove for almost 45 miles and the light came back on... any ideas?
check the vacuum harnesses near the battery. If battery acid spills over onto them, it will cause this condition.(ssm 10787) oh yeah, you have an outstanding recall on your cruise control.
