I wish you Duramax guys did have a website, then all three of you could get together. BTW,I was comparing trucks, if I wanted a vehicle, I'd drive my wifes Beamer. Good luck with your vehicle, and have a grat day.

You too John !
I think we are on the same side of this discussion

Just saying the Ex will hold it's own against MOST vehicles ----
and honestly my wife won't let me in hers that much !
(Only when it needs to go thru the car wash or needs gas - her credit card doesn't seem to do that part of it )

When we go anywhere together - it's always in the Ex

My wifes probably like your, can't pump gas or wash the damm thing, just drives it till it quits, BTW, Duramax are good trucks, had an 01, Now I'm driving an 03 PSD 7.3, As long as it drags my 5er around. I'm not brand loyal.

Have a good one

John

look for one without a lot of add on junk.
as close to factory stock as you can get is best.

when people start adding power adder programs, you start getting into trouble. adding a larger exhaust will not harm it though.

Amen. I find most of the 'quality' stuff we buy is made in Europe/Japan (Germany, Sweeden, Japan). Our family avoids most Made in USA products due to quality issues compared to European made counterparts of similar items...and we don't buy into that whole 'Made/Go USA' propaganda either. We have no brand loyalty as long as it's a good product.

Look at ALL the problems the PSD has had...down right embarrassing in many instances if people are being honest about it. Just my .01
