Their are several nuts under the pad, the easiest way is to remove everything from your dash. The cluster, the radio, and the glove box. then take a 3/8 deep 1/4" socket and go searching.
"speed is a matter of $$$, how much do you have???"
They are a bear!Other guy was right. The toughest ones are above the radio. The instrument cluster needs to be removed.(easy)and there is i think i counted them one time(14) nuts or so holding that on.They hold the cab on with four bolts but that dash pad aint goin anywhere
I have a fine tooth Snap-On 1/4 ratchet that works good for it.You can use a nut driver also. They break loose and can be screwed off by hand also. After all nuts are off, pull the very front forward lifting slightly, then the winsheild side will come straight up.
Dont forget the ones on the very ends by the door!
Hello
I had the same problom when i got my 1968 ford truck. There are about 6 or so nuts under the dash that you have to take out. If you take your glovecompartment out and run you hand up there at the top there are some stud with a nuts on them. But you have to look on both corners of the dash "behide it" and there is a nut. there the hardest to find. But if this dose not help send me an e-mail at wildpeanuts(No Email Addresses In Posts!) and i will e-mail you picture of my dash and show you where the bolt holes are.

Good luck and have patience. I am 5' 6" and had it luckier then other bigger hand people out there. Still took me awhile but all I had to take off was the heater hoses and disconnect the radio..nothing else. Still a b**** to get off. Easier to install for some reason. jim
