Question Simoniz Coating

I had the Simoniz Coating done at the dealership prior to taking delivery. Do I still need to the wax the truck after having this done? Can I still use the clay bar system and not affect the other coating done?

Has any one else had this done to their truck?

Thanks
Jerm

Simoniz is still sold? I haven't heard that mentioned in years. I'm curious how much you were charged?

You mean the simoniz 5 protectant system. If you bought it you got took. Sorry to say it, but unless you got it free it isn't worth the money. Dealerships usually charge between 300 to 900 bucks to do this and it costs them about 75 to 100(including labor). It's pure profit, that's why the salespeople say it's such a good deal....they make a killin off each treatment they sell.
