Here is a link to their website. Looks like some kind of additive that allows ethanol to be blended with diesel. Is this different from biodiesel?

Not the same as biodiesel.

This is a product which adds ethanol to regular diesel in an attempt to reduce emissions. The ethanol adds oxygen to the combustion mixture and is supposed to make it burn cleaner.

I thought I remember reading posts that say adding anything with alcohol in a fuel additive could cause serious problems for 6.0 injectors. And since ethanol is alcohol...??

This post should be in a different forum.. Isn't there one for fuels? Yes, O2 is different than Bio. Much different. And not recommended. Their claims arent' substantiated.

Run a bio mix or just pay through the nose like the rest of us.

I think down the road, the Appleseed bio design looks to be the best for me. I've got a 500gallon tank at home just waiting for me to get some Veggie oil for distillin'.

Have done some home brew myself. I think Bio's the future!!get us out of the Middle East, put the farmers back to work, and substantially less noxious emisssions!!! Have some probs with gelling during the winter (Colorado), but they'll get past that. And it smells like french fries going done the road!!
