I am scheduled to take my truck in for a Better Business Bureau inspection with respect to my arbitration procedures for Ford. I need to take it in on 05/05/06 and I was wondering if any of you have had to do this and what I can expect. Is it an intensive inspection that is going to take four + hours, or is it just to document my "claims?"
BTW, it is an 04/04 F250 with 34,500 miles and many oil leak (RMS and glow plug O-rings) repair attempts. The last time they "fixed" the glow plug harness, they used some silicone sealant to do the job. Nice to know that they couldn't fix the root cause and just throw a band-aid on it. Plus it looks nice too.
This post is not to bash Ford or my 6.0L. I am pretty happy with the truck, but I don't think it should be leaking oil. The oil leaks started at 17,000 miles, and I am worried about the longevity of the truck. I really need it to last to 250,000 miles.
The truck has no mods except for a straight piped exhaust.

A Hi Tech fix to be sure ...when compared to bailing wire and duct tape. Sounds like your dealer is a factor in this.
