oh and by the way, back on the subject i find it very hard to believe that it is just oil leaking. the only oil under pressure entering the head is from the hpop which i impossible to leak out of the head gasket, and oil from the pushrods which isnt even that much oil coming out of them. the oil form the pushrods just drains back through holes in the head under no pressure. more than likely if it was a head gasket it would be coolant since it runs through the heads under pressure. even though its only around 12-18 psi. there would be lots of white smoke and it would smell distinctly different than normal exhaust gasses. and your coolant would need refilled often. and why the hell were they looking for leaks, i rarely run into a 7.3 that dont leak a little its normal. if it were just a cps most techs wouldnt even bother with a lift since it would take just as long to get it on the lift as it would to change it. theres definatly somethin fishy goin on there. and it was leaking on both sides of the gasket??? very unlikely, very very very unlikely. if i were you and wanted to have some fun, i would go in to the dealership in your best suit explain this to them, and then tell the service manager youre calling ford regional (even if ur not going to) i gaurentee you he will freak out. hope this helps. and find a new dealership to go to from now on.
