Oil pan replace
Would like to thank this site. I have an 03 power stroke 7.3 that had an oil pan leaking (rusted), came to this site to see what had to be done to change the pan. Found out it might be under warranty. The 1st dealer told me it wasn't I called Ford they said it should be. Took it to another dealer they said it was and it is with them now getting fixed.
They put a new pan on only to find out the rear seal is leaking, so they pulled the transmission and replaced the rear seal. Now the pan is leaking at the gasket so they are working on it still yet.
Would like to THANK this site and the people who said it could be under warranty. I was going to do the work myself.
