Undercoat, good or bad?

The thing that gets me is putting the paint or what ever you do on your truck. I put some of that rubberized uncoat on and I got it all over me. Do you all use lifts or just say the heck with the mess and get it all over you?
How did you all clean up the undercarrige? Or did you just paint right over the rust?

I wire brush all the lose scale and dirt off then wipe the floor frame whatever with grease and wax remover.(this is for undercaoting or paint not the oil stuff)Buy some good thick elbow lenth rubber gloves peel them off after you can get several uses out of a good pair.Wear old long sleeve shirt and pants use them over til the job is done then throw them out with the gloves. Mr. Fixit Yes my yard is all Ford it was a '65 Falcon sedan.Seems any old Ford has some parts worth saving.
