Undercoat Touchup Recommendations
I installed running boards on my F350 and had to clean up the threads on the body mounting studs to get the nuts on. It was suggested by a friend that I might want to re-coat the studs with an undercoating. Any suggestions on what to use with the new aluminum bodies, studs looked to be metal? I asked my local Ford partsman but I won't repeat his dumb answer.

I used some Ams-Oil HD metal protector on areas under my truck that had some flash rust. I did not coat any aluminum parts at all.
I have also coated trailer frames with it. Its not black, its more of a clear/ yellowish tone. Seems to work well.
