Undercoating...

Anyone undercoat their ex? I read good things about the toughness and longevity of the Harbor Freight bed luner as an undercoating.

For sure....I get my Ex treated with Krown every September. It seems to work great, for $130.00 per year its a good investment. Probably not needed in the Southern U.S.

I would highly recommend oil undercoating over bed liner.

However it makes things very dirty.

Line x is pretty nice and some places will recoat when it chips for free. Im looking at doing my whole ex in it

I had a part can of undercoating so I sprayed a patch underneath. After a year it was waaaaay worse than the parts I hadn't done. I cleaned it all off and used grey por15. I only did the rockers to the frame underneath. Anything I didn't get I sprayed Fluid Film on. So far so good.
