I agree on the tie rod end comments and especially on the track bar. On my 03, the passenger side track bar bushing was badly worn. This was probably due to heat from exhaust header.
I had mine replaced (upper and lower pass side) at about 32k mi. 2 months over factory waranty. Extended waranty covered and paid dealer to put in aftermarket greasable. Thought somthin was up when she started squeakin when I'd turn the wheel.
No lift, factory tires, no plow, and very little off-road.
My 02 at 110K the dealer changed out the left side, said I didn't need both sides? Well, I didn't think I even needed the left side? Tires wore perfect and not a hint of trouble cept the fact my SD has been perfect and I've not been spending any money at the dealer lately and thay were'nt about to let me off that easy. Tons of miles off pavement bouncing between the seat and headliner. Gotta say my old Fords with IFS at that mileage had every part changed at least once or twice. trimman
