I didn't think any additional support was necessary at that location, so I just used a 3-1/2 inch long piece of 4 inch muffler pipe and called it good. I have had absolutely no indication that I will ever need it, either.
Guzz always seems to do things even "firster rater", thus his supported piece.

ditto, there is no support with mine. exactly how mine is.
I got the exhaust on. Sounds really great. But, no performance gains at all. Still feels the same. I am not sure whats going on.
The UPS guy didn't even deliver to my house. I went looking for him around 6:00 and found him across my little town and signed for the box and loaded into my truck there. So I didn't have enough time to install the WW or do the CCV mod. I took today off and I can't take two days off work so I'll have to save those for the weekend if my girlfriend will let me move our plans. (Fat chance)
jt, on the CCV mod, I noticed the guzzle website (http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/ccv1.html) he made a bracket that the replacement piece attaches to the stock location mounting bracket, is this required to keep that thing from moving? Also, did you do anything to the piece of exhaust to keep the clamps from sliding off? I think he said he sandblasted it.
I made no brackets. The whole thing is a tight fit, and I'm not at all worried about movement. I did not do anything to the exhaust tubing to keep the clamps on. Since that part of the system is under a vaccum, and a minimal one at that, I have no reason to believe that the clamps will slide off. However, if I had the tools at my disposal that guzzle does, I probably would have done something similar. His work is always first rate!!
Just found the thread guys and wanted to say thanks for all the complements.
I have only been able to check in for short periods of time since the warmer weather has hit. I'm in the beginning stages of putting up a new home for the PSD! A 32 x 26 garage/shop, Actually big enough to get her in and shut the door! Talk about the ultimate mod! WooHoo!
I am sure that between the shop and landscaping, I'll be pretty scarce around here the whole summer but I will try to check in on all my cyber-buds daily! Thanks again.
[QUOTE=72Lester]I just did the WW this weekend. Way easier than I thought it would be. Did it on the truck using BlackCloudDiesel.com's instructions. Pretty simple to follow.
