Need new injectors...

Well my injectors are giving up. I would like to know where to buy new ones at the best price... or should i have them rebuilt at the local diesel performance shop.
I am also wondering about getting bigger injectors for a little more performance. Should I buy these or have mine rebuilt into better ones. All this decision will come down to the best I can afford So i am not going to say what my budget is and I hope i can get all the opinions out there.

I went nearly 400k before changing mine. Mine does hard labor for a living. I'm going to post my pics of 1/2 millions miles I achieved last weeks. That's 500,000 as written out on the odometer.......anyway just have your truck put on the puter and do a contribution test as well as a buzz test.

kennedyford, are you on the roadside help network yet? I don't see you there. Your roadside adventures may well have been the genesis of the whole thing. I would suspect you of all people would be on there. Yes Of course the whole thing is voluntary. I just thought with all the travel you could benefit the most.

BTW beeglej, I was just curious what led you to that conclusion.

I took my truck to the local diesel shop because of issues with smoking and lack of power. Also it sounded like the truck was not using all its cyl....
anyways the mechanic said the symptoms pointed to injectors starting to go bad and i have already lost one so he plugged it into his puter and it looked like some were starting to fail.

So i looked at some Bean Diesel units and have picked out some Stage II split shots and I think i am going to get a DP tuner Chip to get the best of the new injectors but we will see

All of this depends on the Compression test and its outcome

But if someone has anyother ideas on where to find them let me know

Thanks

Beeglej,
Talk to bean but I think you'll be better off with single shots for stocl oil.
Also with more fuel you'll want more air, or your wgt's will be high and the smoke unmanagable

You'll need to get a bigger turbo to support those huge injectors.
