It helps a little. But you really want to put a switch in the circuit to be able to turn it on and off at will. It makes the truck idle rough.
Here's a diagram that I made of the one that I installed. I've moved on since then and use a Diablo Predator. If I stack it with the Predator the EGT's go through the roof.
