What to look for in used 1999

If this has been discussed before I apologize, just too lazy to search.
I'm looking at a 1999 F250 7.3 auto 116K miles. Any specifics I should be looking for.
Never owned a diesel before but am around big ones at work. So I'm not a complete idiot.
Thanks, Bill

Below is from the ad

This ford will pull your Dodge, Chevy, and Toyota all out of a snow drift at the same time. Im listing my 1999 F250 XLT Powerstroke 7.3 Liter Diesel 4X4 Automatic with 116,000 miles. Its the long bed with tan cloth interior. If you want a truck with power, good gas mileage and something that will never get let you down, come take a look at this truck. You wont find a better deal than this with all that your getting in a truck and I have all the parts records history!
This truck has lots of goodies. Its has power locks and windows, Pioneer Cd Player, Towing Package, Air Conditioning, Sliding Rear Window, Nice Aftermarket Running Boards, Bed Liner, Tool Box, Bed Rail Covers, Heavy Duty Brush Guard, Brand New 285 Yokahama Tires, Triple Gauge Pod Column for Tranny Temp, Turbo Boost, and Exhaust Temp, A SuperChip Programmer with options for 40, 60, and 80 hp increases (This has increased my hwy gas mileage to about 20mpg), A Straight Pipe Exhaust with Nice Tip(Original Exhaust Comes Along With It), AND ALL RECORDS FOR MAINTENANCE including glow plugs and aftermarket Tymar open end air filer.
Records are included for all 100,000 mile tune up maintenance. This includes brand new ball joints with caster and camber adjustment, 4 new shocks, new tie rod ends, two new batteries. I have also completed the front and rear differential flush with new fluid. I cant say enough about the reliability of this truck. With the low miles its just getting broke in. Im the second owner of the truck and the original owner put all highmiles on it using it for trips to Grand Junction.

When checking the tranny, smell the fluid for a burnt odor, also ask if a shift kit or Sonnax valve have been installed. If not, you'll want to do this mod (piece of cake to do and you'll notice a great improvement).
