i was wondering what programmer is the best bang for the buck. I have heard a lot about bully dog, predator, banks, dp tuner, and some others...but i am not sure which one i would want. I would mainly use the chip to roast some kids in a rice burner, but would also be used for some towing. any suggestions on what kind of chip is better?
welcome to FTE...get some gauges first..pyro, boost and trans temp if you have an auto...your going to need them...dp tuner is a custom made tune for your trucks computer..its by far better then any over the counter chip..you call jody tell him what you got for mods and what you want to do with your truck..he can make up to 16 differnt switch on the fly tunes safer then any other chip and he makes that extra power go to the ground far better with his trans shift programs then a chip can.....http://www.dp-tuner.com/
Take the time to do a lot of searching in here. Read all you can about what you will need with the chip. You will be better able to make a decision on this.
Besides just chiming in and saying DP is the best, if it does not seem to work out for you, they will help you out to make it right and a lot of times between here and there fix a problem you may not know you have. I know that sounds like an ad but I have seen it many times. Then you are truly motoring. Customer support is truly A-1
i had the edge ez alone, then edge ez and edge evo, and as of today just the dp-tuner.and damn is it amazing, my 60 tow would keep up with my evo on level 3 and 80 eco would ROAST it! so in a nut shell DP TUNER!
