Computer resetting?
I have a Bully Dog 75 chip in my 2000 350 PSD. I was reading that if I un hook my bateries for a while the computer will reset to the stcok settings? Does that mean my chip is no longer provinding me the HP/TQ that it is now?

Not sure if it's all models or specific years, but some adjust parameters based opn how you drive. I understand that any information is reconstructed after about 50 miles of driving. I have no clue what these parameters are... I doubt that it's a "bad thing" to lose them.

Actually it can be a good thing to reset your computer every now and then, it erases all of the codes and functions it has learned. By doing this you allow your computer to "fully" re-calibrate all of the settings and fully adjust to the way you drive. This does seem a little far fetched but I know a guy that resets his ecm every 5,000 miles and claims that it improves the gas mileage?? but still it is not nearly a bad thing.
