I've been doing alot of reading, and planning and was curious how high of a priority should I rate body mounts. I don't hear any squeeking and the cab is not off center or anything. Although I figure like everything else, over time they rubber mounts should be pretty worn. Is this something that you have all replaced right away or kinda put it on the backburner? I understand that not all of us are doing full blown frame off restoration projects. I just want a drivable, "clean" truck but not sure if I should worry about that or... maybe I shoud? Just add to the list of TO DO. =)

I would at least check them out and see what condition they are in. When I got my truck the body mounts were so worn out, (front and rear), that the cab was sitting on the frame rails and the bottom of my cab corners in the back had actually "worn" a pattern from riding on the frame rails
i agree with 53fatfndr my cab was setting on the frame in the rear that my frame has worn spots on the top of it.the front looked pretty good till i done some grinding,i will have to do some panel replacing where the front rubber donut sits in the cab.
They do not usually cost too much. I would just replace them. It doesn't take long to swap them out if you don't need to do any frame or cab repair in those areas. I would say better safe than sorry. Even though my fire truck has only 6874.5 original miles on it, I will be replacing all the cab mounts immediately. You could easily change them out in about an hour or two.
What is the stock height that the cab would sit above the frame, with rubber mounts ? My cab was resting on frame when I bought the truck, wear on the cab and frame. I replaced the floor and currently the front cab mounts are 1/2 - 3/4" above the frame.
