Body Mount Removal
I do know to do one side at a time. removing one side, loossening the other, then vice vesa.
I have read a couple of post regarding this, but there are very few. the one i read recommended a sawsall for the removal of the stock mount. the deal was after the cab was lifted off the mount, put a jack under the mount and basically compress it until you can see the metal sleave above the mounting flange, then cut away with out having to cut the rubber.
If I cut the sleave at that point, will it still be usable? do I need it? or should I just replace all bolts, nuts and washers.
the best way is to try to separate them by driving them out. If that fails then I would use that trick and cut the sleave. When I did mine they were in rough shape from me beating on them and I couldn't use anything from the old mount. I had to go to ford and buy the rear washers which cost me $80 for two! and I used some old sleeves from some other application... and the nuts, bolts, and washers from the bodylift I was installing at the same time.
You will need a sleeve and nuts and washers to put it all back together... you might be able to reuse the old stuff... but you might not. The hardware from ford is really expensive but I did see someone post a link to an aftermarket kit...
here's the thread with the hardware link:

hope that helps..
