how to remove body mount bushing

I didnt have any luck trying to salvage my original,years of rust welds them together.The bottom sleeve is threaded (rubber and steel) the top (steel sleeve and rubber the bolt passes threw and mates to the lower ,torked up and creates cussion,not factory pressed,,,hope that helps

Take the bolt out and get a 7/16"-14 bolt about 4"-5" long. Screw the bolt in from above and get a big f'n hammer (like a 4lb sledge or bigger) and go at it.
If that doesn't work then you'll have to cut them off.

Not really pressed but the metal retainer has a long tapered sleeve that fits into a cone in the bushing. When they're tightened down the taper is forced into the cone for a very, very tight fit. Time and rust don't help things.
Spraying with Kroil or PB Blaster and letting sit for a day or two may help.
I was lucky (really lucky) with mine, 2-3 hits with a hammer and they fell apart.
