I know that you will exceed all of their expectations at the new dealership. Congratulations on another step forward in your life. Thankfully, I got the chance to meet you face to face and have a wonderful evening of conversation with you. Angelia and I still laugh about some of the things we discussed. If you're ever in Kansas, well... you know.

jeff best wishes and many happy years at bmw. the buyers of those cars will also love you because of the way you work with and help them.
ok guys the link above read it closely, it's a lot of help from you know who.
Wow, there's a shocker for you...Jeff, make sure you budget some good quality time for your FTE family, you've become a big part of this site. And I totally understand (and support) your decision, a man's gotta do what man's gotta do...
I can't say as I own a BMW (although I have a really nice BMW shirt!) but I do own a Rover, a '61 Series II. Both excellent products you'll be selling, and with the Rover you still at least are sort of selling Fords!
Good luck with your new endeavor. And there's nothing like leaving the old place on good terms, with an open job offer.
No , Jeff is now working at a Beemer dealership, where they are not playing give away. Maybe he will be able to make few bucks now.
Gotta remember that when GM, Ford and Dodge did the employee pricing, most salesmen made next to nothin on what they sold. $50 to a $100 per sale if they was lucky.
Your still helping to support the blue oval since, as I'm sure you know, Land Rover is now owned by Ford! My '99 Land Rover Discovery II was the biggest piece of poo (reliability wise) I've ever owned. What a disapointment that vehicle was. But it does look like Land Rover is working on its relibility issues. Hopefully they will continue to improve the quality. I hope Ford can capitalize on Land Rovers heritage and help turn Land Rover into a great brand again. Good luck.
Good luck to you. I know you will do well. Thanks in part to the info you and Polar Bear provided, I was able to get the truck I wanted and know what to expect from the dealer. Rest assured that if my local Ford dealer had been less than above average / the Ford employee pricing was not in effect, I would have ordered from you or Polarbear.
Jeff - we never got to meet, but I hope we will run into each other at some point. Pop over the to NY Chapter forum when you can as I am trying to get some G2G's going and would love to have you attend.
Also if you need any suggestions on Land Rover forums let me know as I am on several of them due to I wheel a 1993 RRC LWB. You will have to let me know what dealership you are at so that I can stop in and see you when I am in Rochester too.
Thanks Jeff for the info a couple of weeks ago. Because of you I finally got the 2006 F250 CC FX4 Lariat that I have been dreaming of. (Loving It) You told me they were going to say they couldn't discount diesels that much and they did. After working it a couple of days they come down to the price you suggested I pay. Thanks and good luck.
price wise i'm the same. thanks to jeff i got invoice and saved more by going across the state line from n.j. to n.y. "5 miles" and saved a n.j. advertising surcharge of 142 dollars . so i really did get about the same price . and have a top notch dealer.
jeff and ernie there is no way possible to say thank you both so very much for all the help you give us.
