Paint Code Information
I am looking to buy a used cap for my '97 Ranger short bed. A guy has one that the color appears to match from the photos but it was painted to match a '94 Ranger. My question is....does anyone know if the following two paint codes are the same or similar color paint?
'94 Ranger, Paint Code: G6
'97 Ranger, Paint Code: DA
They look very similar, unfortunately I don't have time to drive to the location and make an in-person comparison.

The '97 Ranger paint code DA = "Caymen Green Clearcoat"
The same paint code (DA = "Caymen Green Clearcoat") I found in the '94 Ranger code list. I could not find a "G6" paint code for the '94 Ranger as there are no numbers in any of the codes listed. The closest thing to "G6" I could find in the '94 list is "GA" which is "Medium Aubergine".
