No reverse in 2002 Edge. Need help

No reverse in 2002 Edge. Need help
Im driving a 2002 ranger Edge 2wd. I got up this morning to head out to my classes at my college and no reverse. It will go into the foward gears, but no reverse. No previous signs of trouble either. Drove it all yesterday with no problems. I thinking its the transmission, but hopeing its not. Any one have this problem before or know of any thing I can look for before taking it to the shop. Im going to look for any loose wires and check my fluid when classes are over. Thanks

This is from the Ford Manual:
Engagement Concerns: No Reverse Only
Possible Causes:
Fluid
- Improper level
Shift Linkages (Internal/External)
- Transmission shift cable and bracket damaged or misadjusted.
- DTR sensor out of adjustment
Improper Pressures
- Improper band/clutch application pressures, line pressure low
Filter and Seal Assembly
- Filter damaged, plugged; seal damaged, cut or missing
Main Control Assembly
- Screw out of torque specification
- Gasket damaged, off location
- Separator plate damaged
- 1-2 shift valve, 2-3 shift valve, reverse modulator valve, spring damaged, missing, misassembled, stuck, bore damaged
- Wrong component used in rebuild
Pump Assembly
- Screws out of torque specification
- Pump damaged, leaking
Direct/Reverse Clutch/Reverse Band
- Reverse clutch assembly burnt/worn/leaking check ball in clutch piston/leaking piston seal rings, cover gasket damaged
- Direct/reverse servo piston seal cut/leaking
