Today my dad borrowed the truck to tow a tractor and a skid steer. I thought it would have been a little too much weight but when I saw the small tractor I wasn't too worried. He had trouble with the truck after he stopped at a stop light. He said it felt like it just wasn't shifting. I checked the codes and this is what I got.
P0732 - Gear two ratio error
P0733 - Gear three ratio error
P0781 - 1-2 Shift error
P0603 - Internal Ctrl mod KAM error
What can I do to fix this? I've never heard of it so I don't know what to do. After we took the load off of the truck, it ran just fine.
could be as simple as a bad shift solonoid. If you have access to a ford factory scan tool you can manually control the solonoids and listen to see if they are working. If not you can pull the transmission pan an ohm out the solonoids although i don't know the specs off the top of my head. Hope this helps.
