Thumbs down Transmission dead!!!! pulled codes finally!!

Well, a week ago my transmission finally gave in. Started to act very funny and finally lost overdrive.

I was having a little trouble with it shifting from first to second but after a few days first to second was fine and I had no overdrive.

Here are the codes

P0733 - gear three ratio error
P0743 - torque converter system electrical failure
P0475 - pressure control solinoid error
P0470 - exhaust backpressure sensor error
P0782 - transmission control sys. electrical
P0781 - 1-2 shift error
P0732 - gear two ratio error

What is the cause of my prolem? Is the transmission toast??

I'm no expert, but maybe you should check for corrosion and lose wires going to the transmission

Well, I will have to look this up tomorrow on the shop DVD at work. I would say it does not look good. Tranny pump maybe? How many miles on the rig?

I just went passed the 100,000 mile mark. About 101,000 miles or so.

Many have survived longer than that. I will try to make a point to look in the AM for the codes on the manual. Be advised, the tranny does not often throw BS codes. My first step with my AE would be to clear them and check the wiring and connections, but I would bet the ones I could clear would return.

will do... any certain areas to check on the wiring other than directly on the tranny?

I will be the first to say I am not a tranny expert. I would hope that you can find an electrical problem to repair. Other than that, it looks like a fluid pressure issue may be the culprit. Someone else will have to chime in here hopefully. Is it the same/original fluid? What does it look and smell like?

I have serviced the tranny about 4 times. Flushed it once. I haven't had the chance to check and see what it looks like now. I've been back and forth from my home town to school and the truck has been sitting for a week now. I will get back with some more information soon.

Thanks for your help.
