Blinking check engine light
Have a 1999 Ranger and the checkengine light came on and the truck was idling really rough. After reading many forums with the same symptoms, I changed out the PCV valve, EGR valve and the EGR valve sensor. Seems to run a bit smoother but now the check engine light is blinking?

You might be on to something, but unless you take the time to check for engine error codes, we really can't do anything but nod at your guesses.

Welcome.
A flashing CEL means the engine is misfiring bad enough to cause possible damage to the catalytic convertor(s).
Places like Autozone will pull codes for free. Get the codes pulled, write them down and then let us know what they are.
