Egr valve
I have the code p0405,from what I have read it sounds like the egr valve needs to be replaced.The check engine light came on but it does not stay on,the last time the light came on there was another code p0069. I just received the new egr valve and Iam about to replace it ,any insight into the other code.

p0405 is usually a bad EGR valve. Guess it could be the connector, you could try and clean the pins and reseat the connection but it is most likely the valve. Just went through this on my truck, it would only throw the code sometimes but now that I replaced it, no more p0405. Check ebay for a new valve, I see some new OEM on there go for less than 100 bucks from time to time.
