drag chain? i'm confused....

i know they go on the rear wheels, and i'm gonna fool around with them when i pick them up, make sure i can put them on easily enough. used them once YEARS ago, before i was driving.

Drag chain is what they call the chains on a trailer. Used for braking purposes. Otherwise if you had to jam the brakes, your trailer brakes would lock, and your trailer jacknife causing a nasty accident.

Good idea to prefit your chains and become intimate with them. That way when you are putting them on the the middle of the night in a blizzard it will be that much easier.

gotcha. figured it was just another name for trailer chains. thanks a bunch. i got a lot to do in 6 days...

Make it a point to try the chains on for fit before you need to use them.
