What the heck is it?

Bought a new 06 150 crewcab Lariat fairly loaded with options.
Still getting used to the gas mileage, but a great truck.

When I lift up the short seat in the back, I think I'm seeing
a tire-change/jack wrapped in felt/cloth? Correct?
(I don't want to dis-mantel it)

When I lift up the longer seat in the back, there is a long
black plastic enclosure mounted to the floorboard.

What the heck is this?

thanks in advance.

Hey brother.........DON'T MESS WITH THOSE.......

In all actuality, those are part of the flux capacitor for the hyper drive mechanism.......USE GREAT CAUTION WHEN YOU OPEN THEM OR ADJUST THEIR COMPONENTS. You could rip a hole in the space/time continuum....then we'd all be screwed.

Just playin friend. Short seat......tire changing kit. Long seat......subwoofer and amp.

Enjoy your ride, hope you don't have the engine problems I have with my 05 FX4.

It's the negative power coupling on the hyperdrive motivator.

Don't touch it, or it will become polarized.

R2D2 told me.
