Hello all.
I recently bought a 1999 F350 4x4 supercab on ebay. It was from Lincoln county. It was a county truck and very clean but when i bought it it had no rear seat. I went to wrecking yard and purchased a seat with all the seat belts too. When i went to "hang" the seat back on the wall, it wouldnt go. The slots wouldnt line up with the seat back. And when i went to install the seat bottoms i found that the bolts are wider than the unthreaded holes they go into.

What the heck!? What is the deal here? I was hoping to figure out why before i return seats on Monday. Was there a change in bolt size? Am i missing a bracket for the "seat back"?

Was it from the same year truck? I know ford changed the supercab rear seats a couple times.

 

The EXACT year i am not sure of. I asked for the parts and the upholstery even matched! Now how can it not work if the upholstery even matches! I was unaware they changed the seats. I dont understand what needed changing but hey thats why they get the big bucks i guess.
