muffler for V10
#61
On my '05 flatbed dually I put a fm40 on first and loved the sound when sitting syill. During driving at between1750-2000rpm's the drone in the cab would rattle my eardrums.I installed a fm70 next and idleing it was a little quieter tone but a wot it would sound almost as loud as the 40. However at the same cruising rpm's 1750-2000 the drone would drive me insane. I don't know if the sound was amplified against my flatbed body or not but needless to say I put the stock muffler back on and gained more low end back that I had forgoten I had. The biggest thing I noticed while running the Flowmaster's is that it wound up faster and lost some low end only to gain top end.

there are plenty that sell the entire kits, BANKS, BORLA, GIBSON. run the # on building you own system, it might be cheaper in the long run. i have $700 total invested in mine. (banks headers, flowmaster 40 series & no cat), sounds awsome and power out the A*Z!
