Borla exhaust

Has anyone replaced their stock muffler on their 2017 SD with a Borla product? If so, how did you like it and which muffler you order?

Thanks

I know this is an old thread but wanted to see if anyone has added a Borla muffler to their 6.2L yet?

I am thinking of swapping in a Borla Touring muffler when my truck gets here if they make one that will work with these trucks.

Thanks!

Had a Borla system on my 97 Corvette. You can't beat the quality of their products. Can't help you in ref to a Super Duty but I'll bet they sound nice and improve the hp and tq.

That is what I am hoping. I'm not necessarily after a louder truck and do not want drone in the cab so that is why I am looking at a Borla. Most reviews I have read have been on par with what you stated regarding the quality.

I'm debating a Borla muffler, anyone have one on their 2017-18 F250 6.2?

There's always the free option. This guy (and many others) had a muffler shop remove the stock muffler (the last thing in exhaust chain, just before the rear axle) and weld in a piece of straight pipe. This person states both resonators are still in place (which will prevent excessive drone at highway speeds or when towing in the cab) I think it sounds pretty good, especially considering what he paid (probably $75 at a muffler shop for the work).
