I've tried to look at other articles and can't find any info. before 1981. What can I do???

Thanks for your help but i'm not trying to decode the VIN, i'm trying to find the history of the vehicle. I can't find that information anywhere. Here's the VIN F25HLDE7473.
Whoops, I misunderstood the question, my wife says I do that alot Have you tried doing a title search at the vehicle registry? Some places , I have heard anyway never done it myself, you can get the previous owners and vehicle info by paying a fee.
