    Howdy,

From some posts i have read i believe you might be able to help me. I have a Clark 285v33. The bell housing came with it off of a 361 FE out of a 76 F800. I am looking at trying to figure out if it is possible to get a Ranger Overdrive unit or a US Gear Overdrive to bolt up between the bell housing and the transmission. Do you have any idea if the bolt pattern is similar to that of the Ford 4 speeds that these overdrive units are so often added to? I am trying to figure this all out via computer due to the fact that i am not able to access any of these parts to compare for myself.

    Thanks,

dinosaurfan, If you are still around...? I have some Clark 5 speed questions for you...

Please email me at my address...
I am doing a 5.9 Cummins with Clark 5 speed into a 65 2 door Crew/Supercab.... I just picked up the Clark complete with everything to glue it to the Cummins motor.
I am in need of info on the gearing inside the clark, as well as sources for parts....
If this is not an OD 5th gear, then I am going to want to swap for Od 5th....

Thanks in advance for any and all info...

Hi Dinosaurfan, I was just reading a post where you mentioned that you filled the heat crossover port with an 'extreme high temp putty'. I'm very interested to know the brand and availability of just such a product. I've just pulled the baffle off the bottom of my FoMoCo Aluminum FE Intake only to find a hole the size of a silver dollar. I'm going to plug the crossover at the intake port and need to find a high temp putty or epoxy. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, James
