You can get motor mounts for the application to fit the 302 or 351 since they were both offered that year, the C6 will have to be changed, You will need a trans w/ a small block bell housing. I think the radiator will work but im not 100% sure
Tobey, The swap is pretty straight forward. I would suggest that you find a donor truck with the setup that you intend to use and and pull everything from the rear gear to the radiator. Rebuild the engine and tranny at the same time and be set to go on a new setup.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
My truck came with a 460 but the truck cought on fire so i replaced the 460 with a 351m/400 and it bolted right up to the c6 but it was a long time ago and i don't remember about the motor mounts good luck
Bigtoe If you truck has a 460 in it why would you want to go to a smaller motor. I have a 351m/400 and would love to have a 460 but as the old saying goes no mun no fun!!! Why not just rebuild the 460 unless you are want to get away from that gas guzzling 460?:-X23
it will be a simple bolt in with the motor mount towers changed. the tranny has to be changed to the small block bolt pattern. keep the big radiator though, it will cool a 302 or 351 easily and it should never overheat.
